Industrial gear manufacturer gets brand overhaul from CORE ASSOCIATES.
VANCOUVER, BC – Pacific Rim Engineered Products, PREP, began operations in 1969 servicing and distributing industrial transmissions for industries as diverse as oil drilling onshore and off, gas compression, refrigeration and various maritime sectors. In all that time, the company had never branded itself or addressed its corporate image in any way. Until CORE got them in gear.
Beginning with a corporate identity, CORE created an industrial strength design package for all the company’s corporate communications, including a website that functions both as a product listing brochure as well as provides examples of the company’s innovative design solutions. Over the years, PREP has grown into a design, engineering and manufacturing leader, providing custom built solutions for international names such as Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, Rolls Royce, GE Power Systems and Schlumberger, just to name a few.
“What struck us right away after our initial meeting with them was their industry leadership,” observes CORE Branding Strategist Pasquale Sasso. “It’s amazing to us that the Lower Mainland is home to so many influential and successful niche industrial businesses like PREP. We felt their identity should reflect this forward momentum and directional leadership focus.”
